Tamara Dodd Branton

Tamara “Tammy” Dodd Branton, 51, of Calhoun, departed this life Thursday, September 19, 2024, following pulmonary arrest.

She was born on October 5, 1972, in Calhoun, Georgia, the daughter of Carol Dodd. She graduated from Gordon Central High School in 1991 and later graduated from college with an accounting degree. She was employed with Valtorc International in the accounting department. She adored her son and loved her family.

Survivors include her son, Bryson Adam Branton; her mother, Carol Dodd Puckett; brothers, Wesley Dodd and his wife Shona and Jonathan Puckett; and other relatives, including cousins, aunts, and uncles.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, September 23rd, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Wesley Hunt and Rev. Tim Reid officiating. Pallbearers serving include Matthew Dodd, Jeffery Dodd, Kenny Oliver, Cody McMahan, Dakotta Gleffe, Bryson Branton. Honorary pallbearers are Cadjrin Mcmahan and Braxen Mcmahan

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 22nd, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
