Tamara Cherneta

Tamara Cherneta was born on July 21, 1947 in Ukraine to Yakiv and Tetyana Kozachok. Tamara, who resided in Westland, Michigan, passed away on November 24, 2025 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Ivan Cherneta. Loving mother of Tania Cherneta and Victoria Volyanyuk and Charles Gevirtz. Dear sister of Lidia Fedyushkina. Dearest grandmother of Sergio, Michael and Sarah, and Vitalij. Tamara was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Viktor Kozachok. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Visitation Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road. (313) 278-5100. Panakhyda 6 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Funeral service Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road. Following the service, Entombment will take place at St. Hedwig Cemetery 23755 Military Rd, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127.
