Tamara Denise Rainbolt Fulton, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in Manhattan, Kansas. She was born on July 9, 1958, to her parents, Marvin D. and Mary (Thrash) Rainbolt, Pampa, Texas.
Tamara married James Fulton on August 1, 1998, in Paradise, Nevada. They resided in Florence, Texas, before moving to Manhattan, Kansas.
Tamara worked as a bookkeeper and office manager. She enjoyed arts and crafts, hunting, fishing, and going exploring with her grandsons when they were little. She enjoyed arrowhead excavating and had quite an arrowhead collection. She will always be remembered for her love of the "littles". She took every opportunity to be with her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and laughed deeply at their shenanigans. Her love of family was palpable!! Her laugh at them will always be apart of her living family's memories!
She is survived by her husband, James; a son, Jerald Creed and wife Cary from Manhattan, Kansas. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and she enjoyed being an integral part of their lives: Cade, Cale, and Carter Creed. Even though she did not meet her great granddaughter to be born in 2025, she was so in love with her. She enjoyed her stepchildren, Nikki Carlile, Florence, TX, Shaylena Luna, Brandon Fulton, and Jessie Fulton, all residing in Hutto, TX. Left behind is a sister, Kelley Lawrence, Bartlesville, OK; numerous nieces and nephews; and 11 step grandchildren.
Tamara was preceded in death by both of her parents and a sister, Heather Rainbolt Walker.
A memorial service for Tamara will be held at Hopestone Cancer Support Center of Bartlesville, Oklahoma Friday, June 27, at 11:30 A.M. Tamara's ashes will be placed in the family crypt in Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, OK with her mother, father, and sister Heather.
