Tamara "Tammy" Michelle Perry, a cherished member of the Tahlequah community, peacefully passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on January 13, 1975, in Siloam Springs, AR, she was the daughter of Daniel Ward and Betty (Shankle) Lee. Tammy will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her loving nature, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
Tammy leaves behind her devoted husband of 22 years, Brad Perry, with whom she built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. She is also survived by her beloved children: Savannah Perry, Megan Ward, and Asia Perry. Tammy took immense pride in her role as a grandmother, and she leaves behind her grandchildren, KJ Johnson, Maxton Pool, Braxton Pool, Luke Hendricks, and Tatum Hendricks, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Tammy is further mourned by her siblings, Bo (Lori) Ward, Bobbi (Terry) Anderson, and Dustin (Kristi) Ward, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear friends whose lives she touched with her kindness.
In honor of Tammy's remarkable life, a Funeral Service will be held on February 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Hart Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to gather for a Public Viewing on February 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Hart Funeral Home. Following the service, Tammy will be laid to rest at Price Cemetery.
As we come together to celebrate the life of a wonderful soul, let us find comfort in our shared memories and the love that Tammy so freely gave. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
