Tamara Stancil Pickett, age 63, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. She was born September 12, 1962 in Tate, Georgia.
Tammy is survived by her mother, Carolyn Padgett Brown of Cherry Log; father and step-mother, Douglas and Pam Stancil of Jasper; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Tammy Stancil of Jasper; sister, Terri Bird of Jasper; brother, Tracy Stancil of Jasper; brother, Thomas Stancil of Cherry Log; step-sister, Ira Boynton of Canton; daughter, Anna Pickett of Jasper; and son, Hays Pickett of Jasper. Several nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.
She was preceded in death by her companion, Ricky Chadwick; step-mother, Carolyn Richards Stancil; step-father, Ken Brown; nephew, Jacob Hollifield; and step-sister, Cassie Suter.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The family ask that no flowers or food be sent to the funeral home.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.

Tammy it was just yesterday we were hanging out in school hiding from teachers in the bathroom! You were so fun, so pretty, and the coolest of all! I´m so thankful I was able see you again after all of these years, and so sorry we didn´t make it up to the look off like we talked about recently.
I will miss you. Rest in peace my friend.
