Tamara Louise Pittman

Tamara Louise Pittman (Johnson), age 62, passed away on December 9, 2025, in Temple, Texas. Tamara was born on the 16th day of October 1963 in Huntsville, Alabama to parents Jesse Floyd Johnson Sr. and Margie Louise Cargill.
Tammy was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother whose life was marked by love, compassion, and quiet strength. She had a servant's heart and a deep Christian faith that guided the way she lived and cared for others. Tammy was a wonderful listener, always offering comfort, understanding, and kindness to those in need. She found joy in cooking for her family and ensuring that everyone around her felt welcomed and loved.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Grimes; her children, Krystal Pittman, Daniel Pittman, and Tyler Pittman; and her cherished grandchildren, Evangeline Cole, Elijah Cole, Callie Pittman, Adalynn Taylor, and Sawyer Pittman.
Tammy's faith gives comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of the Lord, free from pain and suffering. As Scripture reminds us in Isaiah 66:13, "As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you." Her family finds peace in knowing she is fully restored, surrounded by God's eternal love.
Tammy's legacy of compassion, warmth, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
A memorial service for Tamara will be held at East Highway Baptist Church (9828 Tx-53 Temple, Tx, 76501) on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
