Tamara Lennette Pounders

Tamara Lennette Pounders, 44, of Lepanto, departed this life on Sunday, January 11, 2026, in Lepanto. She was born on September 20, 1981, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Barbara Jean Shinall Pounders and Steve Pounders. Tamara enjoyed swimming, bonfires, moonlight riding, and loved the water. She was a member of the Lepanto Assembly of God. She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Pounders. Tamara is survived by her children, Brittany Wilson (Brandon Smith) of Lepanto and Drake Wilson of Marked Tree. Her father, Steve Pounders of Lepanto; her brother, Tanner Pounders of Lepanto; and her grandson, Mason James Wilson of Lepanto. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto. A visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until service time at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
