Tamara Louise Svitek, (nee Kuske), age 67, of Hammond, Indiana was welcomed to her heavenly home on March 1, 2026.

Tammy, daughter of Kurt and Lorraine Kuske, was a long-time resident of Hammond.

She attended Hammond Tech, earned her GED and continued helping others do the same as well as working as a teacher for the local jr. high/high school. She also worked alongside her husband of 46 years coordinating roofing work, landscaping, deck work, and any other job that came along.

Hobbies included tending on her flower beds, going to estate sales and shopping, traveling to North Carolina to visit her brother Tommy, baking (holidays especially!), attending church, playing yahtzee and spending time with family.

Tammy married Bobby on February 1,1974 in St. Louis, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bobby, daughter Cinthia Marie, twin sister Pam, brothers Sonny and Mike.

Tammy leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her children, Bobby (Katie), Sandy (Steve), Kelly (Steve); grandchildren, Bobby (Kaylee), Sammy, Madison, and Summer; and great-granddaughter, Maebe Lynn. Family members; Tommy, Barb, Sharon, Ellen, Joyce, Bubbles, Butchey, and Carol.
