Tamera Jenson Fitting

Tamera Jenson Fitting passed away June 4th 2024 in Logan Utah.

She was born August 11, 1943 to Theil and Virginia Jenson, and grew up in Millville Utah.  She graduated from South Cache High School in 1962, and was later employed by Thiokol. She married Gerald Fitting on June 3rd, 1964 and they made their home in Nibley Utah.  They had two children, Cynthia Lynn, and Darren Ray. She and Gerald were later divorced. Tamera then moved to Rancho Mirage California. She lived in that area for the next 30 years, and was employed by Mayrnof, Madsen, Gordon and Campbell CPAs, and Lake Air Tech as an office manager.

Tamera was a huge sports fan, and loved the Raiders, Lakers, Dodgers, and Real Salt Lake. She would often watch several games at once running from room to room to the different televisions, so she did not miss any of the action. She also attended many sporting events in person, including the World Cup.

She retired and returned to Utah in 2005, and remained there until her death. She took great joy in supporting her grandchildren in their endeavors during her years in Utah. She will forever be affectinately known as "Gram Tam".

Tamara loved animals of all kinds, but had a special connection with cats, and had many that where members of her family over the years, and is survived by her current cats Tucker and Tipper, and she is reunited with her beloved dog Shy.

She is survived by her daughter Cynthia, (Steven Yeates), son Darren, and Grandchildren Alyson, (Bert Linford), Mallory, (Adam DeWitt), Riley, and Jaycson, (Rachel Farmer) as well as Great Grandchildren Logan, Ella, and Adam.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at the Millville 5th Ward chapel - 110 S Main Street, Millville, Utah, 84326, on Monday June 10th, at 11 am, and internment will be at the Millville/Nibley Cemetery. She will be buried next to her parents.
