Tamika Wells

With profound sadness, we come together to remember and honor the life of Tamika Wells, who passed away on April 6, 2024. Tamika was born on May 4, 1978, in Queens, New York, to the loving embrace of her parents, Cyrus Footman and Patricia Wells. Growing up in Yonkers, she embarked on her educational journey, culminating in the attainment of her associate degree in accounting and business from Westchester Community College.

Tamika's career as a meticulous bookkeeper for the Village of Mamaroneck showcased her dedication and precision in all she pursued. Her commitment to excellence extended beyond the workplace, as she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her role as a mother. Tamika leaves behind cherished memories with her sons Julius Joseph King, John Cyrus King, and Jovan Kerry Wells-Best, whose lives she enriched with boundless love and unwavering support.

In her passing, Tamika is survived by her father, Cyrus, and her siblings Eaisha S. Footman, Talibah A. King, Tyronne C. Wells, AnnetteT. Footman-Guitard, T'eaisha L. Footman, John C. Flowers, Cyrus J. Footman, Jr., Gloria Footman and Cheryl Footman, who shared in her joys and sorrows, shaping the tapestry of her life with their presence. As we mourn her loss, we find solace in the beautiful memories she shared with us and the love she showed to all who knew her.
