Tammy Louise Buhrts, age 58, of Columbus, Ohio passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to Lawrence and Claudia (Lewis) Dotson on November 7, 1965.
Tammy graduated from Olentangy High School, Class of 1984. She lived to have a good time and treated everyone she met like family. Tammy loved bright and cheerful colors, her favorite being purple. She also enjoyed podcasts, baking, crafting, being with her loved ones, visiting new places and sarcasm. Tammy was a die-hard Ohio State football fan and, even in death, she still hates Michigan.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Claudia Dotson; daughters, Sarah (Amanda) Buhrts, Meghan (Kerry) Bradford, and Abigail (Shane) Hall; son, Joseph (Sabrina) Buhrts; grandchildren, Hattie, Millie, Eleanor, Jakob, Travis, Garrett, Dylan, and Lincoln. sister, Theresa (Juan) Raymundo; brother, Tracy (Flor) Dotson and many beloved nieces and nephews. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence "Gene" Dotson, Grandmother Louise H. Bice, and grandchild Ezra Hall.
Friends are welcome to call on Friday, June 7, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. with a funeral service being held at 12:00 P.M. at Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, Ohio 43015. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Delaware, Ohio. Chaplain Lloyd Markley officiating.
