Obituary published on Legacy.com by John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. on Jan. 8, 2026.
Tammy L McGary, 57, of
Clearfield, PA, formerly of
Greenville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on January 2, 2026.
She was born in
Greenville, PA, on December 18, 1968, to Thomas Arnold McGary and Rose Marie (Rowley) Rowley-McGary.
Tammy attended schools at Greenville and Glendale Jr. Sr. High. Tammy spent her younger years raising her children as a devoted homemaker, a role she filled with patience and devotion. In her later years she was a caregiver and enjoyed it very much.
Tammy found joy in life's simple pleasures-getting lost in a good book, listening to her favorite music, and, most of all, spoiling her cherished grandchildren. The kitchen was one of her happy places, where her talent for cooking and baking brought comfort and smiles to those she loved. Known for her sweet tooth, Tammy was rarely without a bag of candy or chocolate close by, a treat her grandchildren quickly learned to expect and eagerly enjoyed. Tammy shared a special bond with her granddog, Chip, who held a place of love in her heart. He will miss her dearly.
Tammy faced many hardships throughout her life and often struggled to find her place, yet through it all, her capacity to love never wavered. She had a heart of gold and a gift for making life more colorful. Tammy was easygoing, which is why everyone loved her. She rarely ever got mad, and if she did, it never lasted long. Her contagious laugh, quick wit, playful sarcasm, and wonderfully uncensored honesty made every moment with her memorable. Tammy kept everyone laughing, guessing, and feeling loved-and that joyful spirit will live on in all who knew her.
Tammy is survived by: Sons, Thomas McGary of Kalispell, MT and Cody Kerins; Daughters, Jessica Burnett and Mackinsey (Charles) Corder both of Greenville; Three Sisters,Vickie McGary-Blake of
