Bernadine L. McGary

Bernadine L. McGary, 94, of Williams Township, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in Easton Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Palmer Township.
Born November 17, 1931, in Emmaus, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edna Stauffer.
She and her husband, Edward G. McGary III, celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on August 22, 2025. She was predeceased by her first husband, Roy Swope.
Bernie graduated from Easton High School, Class of 1950.
She was employed by Binney & Smith, Palmer Township, where she worked for 32 years.
Bernie enjoyed attending car shows with her husband and spending time with her dog, Snowflake. She also enjoyed bingo and the casinos.
She was a member of United Fellowship Lutheran Church and had been a member of the former St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Bernie was a member of Lost in the 50's Car Club, Blue Mountain Classic Car Club and the Lehigh Valley Antique Car Club.
In addition to her husband, Edward, she is survived by a son, Dale Swope and his wife Ann Marie, of Palmer Township; a daughter, Donna Narlesky and her husband James, of Bethlehem; a stepson, Todd McGary and his wife Andrea, of Easton; a stepdaughter, Theresa Vogel and her husband John, of Easton; six grandchildren, Christopher Swope and his wife Ashley, Angela Loban and her husband Mike, Rhonda Phillips, Robert Amato and his wife Tara, Gabrielle Seely and her husband Christian, and Danielle Narlesky; four step-grandchildren, Nick Vogel, Chris Vogel and his wife Nicole, Dalton and Hunter McGary; nine great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews. In addition to her first husband, she was predeceased by a stepson, Timothy McGary, her twin brother, Bernard Bieber, a brother, Dallas Bieber, and a sister, Geraldine Hudson.
Services will be held at 11am Tuesday, January 13th, in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call Tuesday 10-11am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
