Tammy Schwichtenberg, age 59 of Dodgeville, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2024, at Upland Hills Health Nursing home.
Tammy was born in Dodgeville to Harold and Darlene (Hodge) Arndt on August 22, 1964.
Tammy will be most remembered for her love of family and friends and her stubbornness.
Tammy is survived by her children, Tonya (Kevin) Backes, Brandon Hall and Hunter Hall. Grandkids, Abigail Backes and Evelyn Backes. She is further survived by her siblings: June Cannon (Bill), Madisonville TX; Debbie Miller, Arena; Julie (Gary) Miller, Dodgeville; Cindy Polkinghorn (Jeff), Mineral Point; Patti (Brett) Crook, Dodgeville; Joette (Jon) Runkle, Darlington; Darlene (Jim) Wagner, Dodgeville; and Harry (Jane) Arndt, Dodgeville. Special little boys that she loved dearly, Aiden and Ryden Leppert, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold on August 9, 2000, Darlene on May 21, 2012, and sister Gale November 2, 2022; and other family members.
A special thank you to Darlene for the care she provided for Tammy.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 4 PM until 6 PM at the Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home, Dodgeville. The Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home is serving the family. Online condolences can be made at www.houckfuneralhomes.com.
