Tammy Ann Stevens, age 61, of Garrison, Missouri, passed away on September 19, 2023, after battling cancer. She was born on March 12, 1962, in Springfield, Missouri to Roy and Diana Sappington.    Tammy loved her family with her whole heart and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, and a great friend. She worked at Mercy Hospital for nearly 30 years serving as a medical accountant and received her degree in medical coding in 2016 at Ozarks Technical Community College. Every year Tammy and her best friends looked forward to their weekend getaway.   Mike and Tammy met in April of 2002, and Wed on October 4th, 2002. They spent 20 wonderful years together that will forever be treasured. Tammy enjoyed the outdoors, riding horses, and had a special place in her heart for all animals.   Tammy is survived by her husband Mike Stevens; her mother Diane Sappington; daughter Marci Ballard and husband Brian; son Michael Stevens and wife Jennifer; son Matt Stevens; granddaughters Shilee Jernigan and husband Garrett, Shelbi Ballard, Bailey Terry; grandsons Ty Stevens, Kolton Stevens, and Daniel Terry; three great grandchildren Brooklynn, Jasper, and Axel; sister Ladana Jones and husband Cody; nieces Stacy Beddoe and husband Robert and Shana Hong, along with a host of other family members.   Tammy is preceded in death by her father and her grandparents   A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. A graveside service will follow at noon at Mills Cemetery, Bradleyville, Missouri.     In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be sent to American Cancer Society and/or to Mills Cemetery.
