Tammy Agnew Stinnett, 56, of Lynchburg, VA passed away on February 3, 2026. She was the daughter of Robert Crouch and Barbara Agnew, and the adopted daughter of Larry Agnew Sr.
Tammy was born on August 18, 1969, in Lynchburg, VA. She attended E.C. Glass High School, graduating with the class of 1989. Tammy worked a few different jobs early in life, ranging from nursing aide to fast food, but ultimately worked the hardest as a mother, a role she was incredibly proud to have.
She is survived by her adoptive father, Larry Agnew Sr., her brothers Larry Agnew Jr., and Michael Agnew, her children Jacob Stinnett and John Stinnett, and her uncle and aunt William Mann and Sandra Mann.
She is preceded in death by her mother Barbara Agnew, and her father Robert Crouch.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Goodwill Industries.
In addition, as Tammy was an avid lover of all things music, the best way to honor her memory is to listen to your favorite song. In those melodies, that's where she'll live forever. When you sing along, you might not be able to hear her… but she's singing with you.
