Today, we gather to celebrate and remember the life and legacy of Tammy F. Thompson. Born to Jessie L Thompson, and the late Lizzie Mae Thompson on February 26,1974 in Calhoun County. Tammy departed this life on March 7, 2025 at the Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
Tammy received her education in the Calhoun County School in South Carolina. She worked in the Food Service and Custodial industries.
Preceding her in death is her loving mother, Lizzie Mae Thompson; grandparents, William and Marie Bovain; great grandparents, Joe and Lydia Butler; great aunt, Annie Butler; uncles, Johnny Butler and Bernard Bovain and aunt, Shelia Bovain.
Those left to cherish her memories along with her father are 6 beautiful children, Adrian De'Andre Rashad Staley of Columbia, SC, Vincent Kendrell Davon Thompson of West Columbia, SC, Shayqual Nicole Thompson of Columbia, SC, Darrius Bernard Bovain of Gaston, SC, Heaven Angel Thompson of Gaston, SC, and Nevaeh Bernard Alberto Thompson of Columbia, SC. Three sisters, Jennifer (Kareem) Leaphart of Gaston, SC, Sylvia Gardner of Gaston, SC, and Jessie M. Thompson of Gaston, SC. Aunts, Lucinda (Nate) Gaskins of Lexington, SC, Christine Bovain of Swansea, SC, Shirley (Tony) Lloyd of Lexington, SC, Movita Bovain of Columbia, SC, Annie Wise of Gaston, SC, Betty Williams of Columbia, SC, Amelia Bates of West Columbia, SC, and Rosa (Bobby) Petty of Detroit, MI. Uncles, Tony Bovain of Lexington, SC, Horace Bates of Orangeburg, SC, William Bovain of Beaufort, SC, and Kenneth Bovain and Lance Bovain of Brooklyn, NY. Three grandchildren, Jaida Thompson of Columbia, SC, Carter Thompson of West Columbia, SC, and Kai Thompson of West Columbia, SC. Two nephews, Regenald Gardner of Gaston, SC, and Jaren Meyers of Gaston, SC, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
