Tammy Denise Watson, age 62 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at her home. She was born on October 24, 1963 in Hot Springs, the daughter of the Dexter Bell and Martha Steele Bell.

Tammy was especially passionate about her job as the Head Librarian for the Howard County Public Library and was a member of the Arkansas Library Association. She enjoyed crocheting, painting and camping. She also loved her pets. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Bell, her father-in-law, John Watson; and her father and mother-in-law, Dennis and Brenda Harsh.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Jonathan Watson; her three children, William Franks, Kayla (Matt) Armitage and John Paul (Carlie) Watson; her mother-in-law, Brenda Watson; two siblings, Tina (Billy) Franks and Michael Bell; brothers-in-law, Jordan (Hannah) Watson, Jamie White, and Chris (Melissa) White; her beloved grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There will be a memorial service for Mrs. Watson at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026 in the Latimer Funeral Chapel in Nashville.
