Tanara Fields Obituary

Tanara Lynea Fields, age 38 of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Rockford, Illinois passed away unexpectedley on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at her home. She was the oldest of three children, born on May 17, 1985 in Rockford, Illinois to Douglas and Jannae (James) Fields. Tanara attended and graduated from from Auburn High School in Rockford where she was active in dance and cheerleading. Upon graduation, she attended Northern Illinois University.
Tanara moved to the Tampa Bay area in 2012 and began working at Capital One. Her teammates at Capital One, who affectionately called her "T-Money" have been her family away from home for the last 12 years. Tanara served as an Associate Level, Customer Advocate during her time there. When Tanara wasn't working or spending quality time with her most precious accomplishment, her daughter "Izzy" she enjoyed drawing and sketching and had become quite an accomplished artist with her talents.
In addition to her daughter, Isabella "Izzy" Martinez, she is survived by her parents, Jannae James and Douglas (Laurie) Fields; siblings, Teasha Fields, Tarell Fields and Raquel Hernandez; two grandmothers, Elizabeth Harris and Geraldine Willette and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her two grandfathers, Michael Harris and Melvin Willette.
A Celebration of Life Service has been planned for Saturday, December 16, 2023 in Rockford, Illinois.

I am so sad to hear of Tanara's passing. I met Tanara when our Chesapeake team joined her Tampa team at Capital One. She was such a delight and very helpful! Many memories of her talking about her beautiful daughter whom joined us on Zoom meetings at times. Tanara was such a beautiful soul. Prayers to her daughter Izzy and family.

I met Tanara at Capital One. I had become pregnant shortly after she had Izzy. My favorite memory of her was that she gave me the most unique baby shower gift... a silicon spatula to put on diaper rash cream with lol
God bless her soul!
I hope her quirkiness lives on through her beautiful daughter. Sending my love and my appreciation to her family for having known her in this lifetime!

First and foremost I wanna send my condolences to the fields family & her daughter . Tanara was a beautiful outgoing soul . When I arrive to Capital one "lost in the sauce, I say " you were there to help . Whether the question was small or big you helped and made me feel comfortable. You helped make my first year with capital one a little easier and will forever be grateful . Rest easy beautiful
