Tanisha Nichelle Davis

Tanisha Nichelle Davis, 43, of Killeen, TX. passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at home.
She was born in Waco, Texas on June 23, 1980 to James and Patricia (Foster) Johnson. She grew up in Waco, Tx then shortly relocated to Belton, Tx where she attended elementary and middle school. She graduated from Temple High School in 1998. She went on to join The United States Army where she was Honorably Discharged in 2001. She graduated in 2002 with her Business Management Degree, and later went to receive her Registered Nurse degree in 2011 from Central Texas College where she graduated with Honors. She also married her husband Markell June 17, 2011.
Tanisha was a loving wife and doting mother, who loved her family and all she knew. She enjoyed reading, arts & craft, and spreading the word of her son's Taliq's DIPG foundation.
Preceding her in death; is her son Taliq "Fat Fat" Davis, Brother James "Cokomo" Sanders and Best friend Damien Williams.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband; Markell Davis, Grandfather, Benjamin Reed "Her Favorite Man in the WORLD." Children; Aquan Baker, Kiora baker, Ja'Kobi Bryan, Grandchildren; Chloe Baker, Micah Baker, Greylin Baker, Za'Kai Mathis, Amiyah Bryan, Siblings; Wanda Johnson, April Harris, Arlinzer Sanders, Niece: Omunique Harris, Nephews: Dejamieon Harris, Chauncey Harris Jr, Rockell Moore, Special Pets; Layla Bug and a host of Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Friends.
A Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights, on Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, A Funeral Service will be held the following day, Friday, December 1, 2023, at 11:00 am, Interment will be a private family gathering at a later date at Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery.
