Tanner Ruff Cutrell, 30, passed away Friday January 23, 2026, at his residence. He was born on December 1, 1995, in Forsyth County, the son of Russell and Suzanne Ruff Cutrell. He was a graduate of East Forsyth High School and worked for ABSKids in Kernersville. Tanner enjoyed dogs, children, traveling, gaming and gardening. He loved everyone, was a quiet individual and had a wit that was funny. He is preceded in death by his father, Russell Cutrell; his paternal grandfather, Robert Cutrell and his maternal grandparents, John F. and Vickie H. Ruff. Survivors include his mother, Suzanne Ruff Cutrell of Kernersville; two siblings, Tori Cutrell of Kernersville and John Paul Cutrell of Greensboro; his paternal grandmother, Marlene L. Cutrell of Kernersville; his dog, Kai and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Gather of Friends will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM on Thursday January 29, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
