Tanya was born on Tuesday, July 7, 1970 in Las Vegas, NV and passed away Monday, March 17, 2025 in Baton Rouge, LA surrounded by loved ones. Tanya was a woman with a heart as big as her spirit was fierce. Kind-hearted and always willing to help anyone in need, she never hesitated to lend a hand. But make no mistake-she was a spitfire, never afraid to speak her mind or stand her ground. Her faith was her foundation, guiding her through life's ups and downs with strength and grace. Tanya adored her family, cherishing her role as a loving wife, mother, Gigi, and sister. Her dogs held a special place in her heart, bringing her endless joy and companionship. She found peace at the lake but insisted on having her pool, where countless memories were made with loved ones. Tanya's laughter, love, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though she is no longer here, her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William George Kehn and Janell Bennett Kehn.
Those left behind to cherish Tanya's memories is the love of her life, Benard "Ben" Smith of Lake Concordia, LA; daughter, Meagan Ray & her husband Aaron of Corpus Cristi, TX; brother, Shawn McFarlin of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Nancy Tubre of Saint Landry, LA; grandchildren, Hayden Ray, Paxton Ray, and Natalynn Ray.
Those honoring pallbearers will be Eric Hawley, Drew Hudnall, Cody Higdon, Aaron Ray, Jason Myers, and Bud Orcut.

I knew Tanya from her doctors office. She was from my husbands small hometown. She was definitely a joy to be around! Wish we could have spent more time together hanging out. She will be missed. So sorry for your loss.

Tonya was my friend we had a lot of good times together and I´m going to miss her dearly. When we talked we always said we loved each other before we hung up ,her and Ben were like family to me
