With profound sadness and eternal love, we celebrate the life of Tara Ann Elder, 53, of Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed peacefully on May 14, 2025, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Born in Hagerstown, Maryland, on October 19, 1971, Tara brought light and warmth into the world from the very beginning. She was a devoted mother, beloved wife, cherished Mimi, and a woman whose soul radiated compassion. Taras life was rooted in kindness; always caring for others, always showing up with love and strength.
Tara is survived by her loving spouse, Kim Elder; her daughters, Kerah Galusic (Danijel) and Destiney Brindle (William Resh); and her adored grandchildren: Luka, Lejla, Leena, Olivia, William, and Dawson. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Aaron Brindle.
Those who knew Tara will remember her for so many things, her beauty, her tenderness, her unwavering loyalty to friends and family but above all, they will remember the way she made people feel safe, seen, and deeply loved.
Taras legacy is not only in the love she gave but in the strength she instilled. She leaves behind generations shaped by her fierce protection, her encouragement, and her belief in the beauty of life, even in the hardest moments.
