Tarkesha L Sylvester

Tarkesha Lawana Sylvester "TK" is a native of Mobile, Alabama, and a long-time resident
of Atlanta, Georgia. Kesha enjoyed life, traveling, fun, family, and friends. She was an honor
graduate of John LeFlore High School Class of 1994. She pursued a higher degree at Clark
Atlanta University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing which aided
in her becoming an awesome and strong negotiator among other great qualities. She was a
light that attracted people and joy that entered a room. Kesha was very smart, gifted, uniquely
creative, self-motivated, energetic, courageous, and strong. In her quest to pursue her dreams,
she demonstrated bravery and resilience. She knew what she desired and had no problem
confronting any challenges that entered her path. Once her mind was set, there was no
stopping. If it didn't turn out as she desired, she didn't hesitate to try another approach. Her
greatest aim was to become an entrepreneur and her boss. After several small business
ventures, Kesha became the founder and owner of 7 AM Unique Furniture with an atmosphere
she enjoyed: negotiations, meeting people, laughter, and joy.
Kesha was born to the union of Bishop Donald R. Sylvester, Sr., and Annie Jean
Sylvester. She confessed Christ as her Savior. On Sunday, January 14, 2024, at
2:25 p.m. with her parents at her bedside, God in His infinite wisdom transitioned
Kesha to her new heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her sibling:
Kelsey McQueen, Sr.; maternal grandparents: Archie L. Rogers, Sr., and Alice
Rogers; paternal grandparents: David L. Sylvester, Sr., and Ceola Sylvester.
Uncles: Albert Rogers, Dixon Rogers, Apostle David L. Sylvester; Aunts: Augusta
Foster and Evelyn Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted parents: Bishop Donald
R. Sylvester, Sr. and Annie Jean Sylvester; Devoted Fiance': Charles Lockhart,
