Taweerat "Terri" Scoggan, 77, of Bedford, IN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 7, 1947, in Thailand, Terri moved to the United States and graduated from Indiana University, earning her master's degree in Linguistics. She married John David Scoggan in Bedford, Indiana, and they were happily married for twenty-five years.

Terri worked as a Thai chef for several years and as a caregiver for TSI for many years. She was an amazing wife, grandmother, and great- grandmother. Known as "Moma T", she especially cherished the time spent with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, reading, going to yard sales, antiquing, exercising and cooking for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Terri is survived by her husband, John David Scoggan of Bedford; her children, Rebecca (Eric) Reed of Bedford, Pami Arthur of Bedford, and Randy (Tammy) Scoggan of Palmyra; three grandsons, Tyler (Jesse) Reed of Fayetteville, Jeffrey T. Arthur of Bloomington, and Landon( Brylye) Reed of Bloomington; four great-grandchildren; four sisters; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, and her grandson, Daniel Austin Reed.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation Rites have been accorded.

The caring staff of Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Scoggan and her family.
