Taylor Baysden Cervantes, 29 of Hope Mills, went home to rest with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
Born March 21, 1995, in Cumberland County, NC, Taylor is the daughter of Tony and Sheila Baysden.
At the age of 4, Taylor developed an everlasting love for softball, leading her to play varsity with the Tigers while attending South View High School in Hope Mills and continuing through college. She honorably served in the U.S. Army before starting her own family. Fate would eventually take her to California, where she was currently residing.
In addition to her parents, Taylor is survived by her husband, Josue Cervantes; her 5-year-old daughter, Azabella; her 3-year-old son, Ezekiel; in-laws, Maria and Martin Cervantes of California; brother, Tyler Baysden of Hope Mills; grandmother, Mary Foss of Fayetteville; several aunts and uncles; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and a host of friends.
Taylor was a beautiful soul who was lovingly dedicated to her family. Her outgoing personality could brighten any room she entered and leave a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a contribution in memory of Taylor by donating to a drug rehabilitation center of one's choice. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
