Taylor Delanie Dees, age 33, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, at his home in Cove, Arkansas. He was born on August 27, 1992, in
Mena, Arkansas to parents, Jackie Don Dees and Audrey Marie Scheppmann Grant.
Taylor loved family and being a big part of family. His Mom and Dad and siblings were always special to him. His wife and children were the delight of his life. He loved school and summer sports. He so enjoyed seeing his children grow and advance in academics and athletics. He delighted in seeking opportunities for them to be involved individually and in teamwork.
Taylor also loved the farm. He began at an early age with a thrill of caring for the cattle; feeding, haying, managing, and doing lots of tractor work, bush-hogging, etc. before and after work at Gillham Lake Regional Water Association, (a job he was so proud of!). He really stepped up to take the load when his Papaw, Sonny Dees, could not. Taylor made sure that Sonny knew his cows would be taken care of. Taylor also made sure his Mamaw, Susan Dees, had all the help she needed. And she leaned on him and loves him so very much.
Taylor leaned on Jesus and called on Him more and more through time, voiced appreciation for all the "second chances", and prayed much with his children. He taught them that Jesus was indeed their Lord and Savior, and friend always. Taylor is loved forever!
Taylor is preceded in death by his Papaw, Charles Sonny Dees. He is survived by his wife, Maranda Dees; children, Blayze McCoy, Benz Dees, Lawson Dees, and Cooper Dees; his father, Jackie Don Dees; his mother, Audrey Marie Scheppmann Grant and husband, T.C. Grant; his brothers, Kyle Manning, Trent Dees, Travis Dees, Haven Grant, Zander Scheppmann; his sisters, Abigail Dees, Avery Johnson, Briana Billy, Payton and husband Noah Crawford; his paternal grandmother, Susan Dees; his maternal grandfather, Leon Scheppmann; his maternal grandmother, Kay Scheppmann; aunts and uncles, Sandy and David Depriest, Bill and Rachel Dees, Vivi and Lance Bradshaw, Troy and Darbi Scheppmann, Jamie and Josh Manning, Cyndie Scheppmann, Trisha Miller, Aunt Fay Bernardin, Aunt Brenda Kennedy, Uncle Josh and Aunt Celia Roberts; as well as by a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends too numerous to mention.
