Taylor Guyer Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Faries Funeral Directors and Crematorium, Inc. on Sep. 24, 2024.
Taylor Guyer tragically passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 from a motorcycle accident in New Castle County, Delaware. He was born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania on August 20, 1998.
Taylor has always been happy and resilient despite any challenges in life. He had a love for wheels: motorcycles, trucks, 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, semis, and even matchbox cars when he was little. But the louder the better.
He is survived by his loving mother Becky Whorley; his two siblings Austin Guyer and Alex Guyer; cousins Michael Richardson and Felica Garlett; his love of his life girlfriend Emma Langen; and a wonderful and loyal friend pack from childhood Brad Horter, Brian Kibbly, Hunter Bentley, and Matt Horter.
Taylor was preceded in death by his grandparents Jacob and Dixie Whorley; and his Uncle Jake Whorley.
Taylor graduated Pottsgrove Senior High School in 2016. He was always a passionate person that had a determination for the things he loved and was great working with his hands mechanically. He was so helpful and caring for others and had a smile and giggle that lit your world up in an instant. He was either working on his bikes and truck or someone else's. Taylor's love to ride motorcycles is what brought him joy in life the most.

Personal messages from family and loved ones
Taylor, my son that I have loved from the moment I held you. My love grew more with the deep relationship we built and the momma's boy that you were. This separation has emptied my soul and I miss you and words could never describe the pain that I feel. I will see you again in Heaven. Keep smiling down on all of us. I love you so much and miss you so deeply.
-Love Mom
Even though we took almost opposite paths in life, Taylor was always willing to help you out when you needed it. He always stood by his family and friends no matter what, and I couldn't have asked for a better brother to grow up with. I'll miss you, Taylor, and I'm glad life brought me back home to spend these last several months with you.
-Austin Guyer (older brother)
Taylor was my brother, someone I could go to for many things. I loved him and I will miss him. He will forever be in my thoughts.
-Sincerely Alex (brother)
Taylor, To know you was to love you. Knowing and loving you the past couple years have been the biggest blessing I could ever ask for. You were one of my best friends and then my best friend became my boyfriend and for that I am so thankful. You were the light of my life baby and you pulled me out of hard spot in my life. I don't know what I would've done without you and I don't know what I will do without you now. Your love captivated me completely and I knew you were it. You were the one. My future husband, the future father of my kids and we would love talking about that. It breaks my heart that it was taken from us. I just want to thank you for all the time we got to spend together. I read a poem the other day and it said "And of course I'm thankful for the years we had, but that does not stop me from wishing we had known a few years more" and that is completely true. I thank you for being the light of my life, thank you for making me laugh like no one else could and thank you for loving me whole heartedly. I can't wait for the day that I will see you again. "Till then, give heaven some hell"
-Love, your girlfriend, Emma.
Taylor was truly an amazing person. I've known him since middle school and he's been a huge part of my life ever since. From early mornings tinkering on our trucks to late nights playing Call of duty, he loved anything with a motor. From 4 wheelers to motorcycles we did it all together. Taylor was always the first to volunteer to help with anything mechanical. From regular maintenances to full blown motor swaps he loved it all. The late night garage sessions will never be the same without him there to make an outlandish joke or to just brighten the mood when we're all tired and frustrated. Taylor's favorite pastime of all was riding his motorcycles. Throughout the last few years he had all kinds of motorcycles which he spent countless hours working on, riding, and keeping in pristine condition. Taylor was the kind of friend that would drop everything to help out a friend in need. With an iced coffee in his hand and a slim Jim in his pocket he was ready for whatever came his way. Taylor was much more than just a friend to most people who knew him. He was family. This world needs more people like Taylor Guyer. Those who got to know him were truly blessed in the best way. Thank you for being a part of my life Taylor. I love you brother.

Taylor Guyer is one of the best men I have had the opportunity to meet. Taylor was introduced to me by my brother and his friends. As months went by Taylor quickly became one of my closest friends. He was there for anybody that needed him regardless of the time of day. He always wanted to be involved, whether we were working on a project car, riding motorcycles, or just hanging around. Taylor was there for it all. He will be deeply missed and things just won't be the same.

Taylor was such an amazing person. The first person to always be there for you, Taylor was always offering help and always willing to help work on cars and motorcycles. He loved going on rides both short and long. I have so many awesome memories and great times with him. Taylor was always making new friends everywhere we would go. He was a friend that was like a brother. Things will never be the same without his glowing and hilarious personality. Everyone is going to deeply miss him.
