Taylor Packard Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home & Crematory - Antigo on Dec. 9, 2025.
Taylor James Packard, age 30, of Weston, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 5, 2025 at his home. He was born on November 17, 1995 in Antigo, a son of Jamie Packard and Kara "Karrie" (Kautza) Packard.
Taylor attended Pleasant View Elementary School and was a 2014 graduate of Antigo High School. He married the love of his life Lindsey (Schwalbach) Packard on September 20, 2025 on Rib Mountain.
Taylor worked as an electrician for various companies traveling the United States working at Amazon, Ford Battery, and other Plants to gain experience to land a job that would keep him close to home. He was currently working for IBEW Local 388 as a Journeyman Electrician for Econn.
Taylor was an exceptional person that made friends everywhere he went. He was a "big brother" to everyone he met no matter their age, and always putting others before himself. Taylor had a way with words, talking on the phone and writing notes in cards. His smile could light up a room. He had great love and appreciation for the outdoors, hunting, trout fishing, mushroom picking, shed hunting, and hiking. He enjoyed traveling, especially fishing in Wyoming and camping on Lake Superior. He also enjoyed snowboarding and collecting antique fishing lures. What Taylor enjoyed most was his family and spending time with his wife, and two dogs.
Taylor had a deep love for his family and friends, he will be forever missed and loved by his wife, Lindsey Packard of Weston; his two dogs, Lucy and Guy; mother, Kara "Karrie" (Steve Hackbarth) Packard; father, Jamie (Gretchen) Packard; brother, Brett (Billie) Packard; grandparents, Dave and Diane Kautza and Dan and Dawn Packard; great-grandmothers, Delores Zimmerman and Pat Packard all of Antigo; aunt, uncle and godparents, Stacy (Tori) Kautza of Antigo; aunts and uncles, Jeremy (Alanna) Kautza of Antigo, Jenny (Chris) Resch of Birmanwood, Kirk "Hummer" (Heather) Packard of Antigo, and Daniel (Macy) Packard Jr. of Crandon; God-daughter, Elyse Packard of Antigo; mother and father-in-law, Kerry and Chris Schwalbach of Wittenberg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tim (Renee) Menge of Tigerton, Nikki (Devin) Szutkowski of Birnamwood, Jen Menge of Little Suamico, Taylor (Nate) Dahlke of Ixonia, Madison (Deakyn) Schwalbach of Wittenberg and Donald Schwalbach of Wittenberg; niece and nephews, Navy, Beckett, Nash, Beau, Ryder; grandparents-in-law, Donald and Mary Schwalbach of Wittenberg and Sharon Dedolph of Tigerton. He is also survived by many great aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, George and Hilma Kautza, Joseph Zimmerman, Lorraine and Conrad Fleischman Sr., and George Packard; and grandfather-in-law, Lee Dedolph.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, December 12 at 3 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Reverend Lance Hoelscher officiating.
Visitation will take place from 12 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
