Obituary
Ted G. Breshears, from Comfort, Texas, previously from Lakeside, California, left us Aug. 1, 2025, to be with the Lord.
Ted was born in Dumas, Arkansas on March 16, 1949. He was one of five children born to Hugh and Margaret Breshears. His parents moved the family to San Diego, CA in 1957.
Ted was a fun person to be around. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a great storyteller. He would relive life through his funny stories.
Ted loved the outdoors--whether it was camping and fishing at the Colorado River or gardening.
He was also an animal lover. He would love and care for all from a squirrel to a horse. They were all pets to him.
Ted was a Jack of all trades and Master of most. He could fix or repair just about anything from auto mechanic to heating and air conditioning, shipbuilding or home building. Ted was the one everybody would depend on.
Ted was a good artist. He could draw anything and paint like a pro. He was a talented guy in the art world.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Margaret Breshears; his brother, Joe Breshears; and his sister, Jewel Sue Breshears Espinola.
Ted had unconditional love for his family and his three children: his daughter, Dawn Breshears Montgomery (Eric), his sons, Travis Weston Breshears and Seth Thomas Breshears.
Ted is survived by his three children; three granddaughters, Caitlyn Montgomery, Payton Montgomery and Lilyana Breshears; two grandsons, Dylan Montgomery and Silas Breshears;
one great-granddaughter, Alaina Robles. He also leaves behind two older sisters, Jeri Petersen and Lynda Finley.
He was loved by all and forever in our hearts.
