Ted Haire Obituary
The family is hosting a celebration of life that will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Fort Mill Church of God. The family will receive friends 30 minutes before the service, from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Born in Baltimore, MD, Ted was the son of the late Thomas Carl Haire and Velvie Moore Haire. He attended Fort Mill High School class of 1962 and was a 82nd Airborne U.S. Army veteran, proudly serving his country for three years. Ted worked in construction, where he owned and operated his own construction company for many years before retirement. Ted enjoyed spending time outdoors, going golfing and spending time with his family, especially his son Stephen.
Surviving is his loving wife of 60 years, Terrie Hall Haire; his son, Stephen Haire; siblings, Janice Arlene Cook (Ronnie), Thomas Gordon Haire; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three siblings, Larry Charles Haire, Della Sharon Drawdy and Craig Britton Haire.
