Ted G. Lafever, age 89 of Canton, Michigan passed away on March 24, 2025.
He was born on October 31, 1935 in Silver Point, Tennessee to his parents, the late Arlie (née Palmer) and George Lafever. He is the beloved and devoted husband of 58 years to Dorothea (née Hansen); loving father of Glenn (Jennifer) Lafever and proud grandfather of Paige Lafever.
Ted was truly a devoted outdoorsman whether he was hunting, fishing or golfing, he was most relaxed in the beauty of nature with its colors of the four seasons and a host of calming sounds away from the day-to-day routine. Ted also loved horse racing. He was fortunate to attend many Kentucky Derby’s. He was a member of the Plymouth Church of Christ for 40 years and served as an elder for 4 years.
Ted will be missed by his family and many friends, and the memories of him will be carried in their heart.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.
He will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens.
