Heber Valley Funeral HomeTed Clayton McNeill, born on February 25, 2025, in Spring Canyon, Utah, passed away on August 20, 2025, in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. He was deeply loved as a husband, father, and member of his community.
Ted dedicated much of his professional life as a diesel mechanic, skillfully applying his talents in an industry that called for both precision and ingenuity. His family's legacy in Fruitland, Utah, began with a store that endeared them to the local community, further solidifying their bond with those around them.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Ted served aboard the USS Implicit, showcasing his commitment to his country. This sense of duty extended to his service in his faith; he was immensely proud of having served three missions alongside his beloved wife, Jaclyn. Together, they served in Uganda, India, and Adam-ondi-Ahman, where they shared their love and faith with those they encountered.
Ted is survived by is loving wife Jaclyn, along with their children Dusty, Bruce, Casey, and Chad. Ted was preceded in death by his son Wade.
In celebration of Ted's life, a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on August 28, 2025, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 46250 W 6000 S, Fruitland, UT, 84027. A viewing will be held at the church from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Interment will be in the Fruitland Cemetery.
Ted Clayton McNeill leaves behind a legacy of service, compassion, and love. He will be profoundly missed by all whose lives he touched.
