Graveside Services for Ted M. Pinkerton, 82, of Butler, will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 11:30 A.M. at the Waynesboro Cemetery in Waynesboro, Mississippi, with Sister Peggy Tyson officiating.

Ted passed away on March 1, 2026, at Arabella Health & Wellness of Butler. Born on May 30, 1943, in Waynesboro, Mississippi, to Joe and Clem M. Pinkerton.

Ted graduated from Waynesboro High School in 1961, furthering his education at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi. He loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Ted grew up in the First United Methodist Church of Waynesboro, MS. During his marriage he attended the County Line Baptist Church of State Line, MS.

Ted retired from Northen Electric Company of Waynesboro, MS. As a napping supervisor. His longtime dream was to own and operate a restaurant which was fulfilled as Southern Style Steak and Seafood.

Retiring the second time and after a few years in Waynesboro, MS. He moved to Butler, AL. to be near his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelly Guerrero (Danny) of MS; son, Barry Pinkerton of MS; sister, Toni P. Griffith (Eugene) of Butler, AL; nephews, Matt Griffith (Kellee) of Butler, AL, Mitchell Griffith (Brittney) of Gulf Breeze, FL; grandchildren, Noah Guerrero, Elijah Guerrero, Asher Guerrero; great nieces, Ellis Griffith and Kennedy Griffith; great nephews, Wiley Griffith and Briggs Griffith; very special loved ones, Jamey, Amanda and Layne Roberts of Northport, AL.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Clem M. Pinkerton.

Pallbearers include Barry Pinkerton, Matt Griffith, Mitchell Griffith, Steve Odom, William Richardson, Adam Roberts.

Honorary Pallbearers include Eugene M. Griffith and Jamey Roberts.
