Ted Arden Rouse

Ted Arden Rouse, born on Saint Patrick's Day in 1956, to the late John Neil Rouse Jr. and Doris Erit Rouse, passed away August 14, 2025, in Canal Winchester, Ohio. He was a graduate of Upper Arlington Golden Bears Class of 1974 and was a retired elevator mechanic for IUEC Local 37 in Columbus, Ohio. Ted had a passion for a few tall frosty beers, while watching the Ohio State Buckeyes with close friends. He was a huge John Wayne fan. He enjoyed playing euchre with family and liked a good golf game, even in the rain. Ted loved vacationing in Florida and fishing the French River in Canada with his sons Todd and Brett. Ted was an excellent cook and grill master. Ted is survived by his sons, Todd (Amy) Hungerman and Brett Rouse; brothers, Neil (Barb) Rouse and Max (Molly) Rouse; grandchildren, Lincoln, Knox, and Ollie Hungerman; nieces and nephews; and many friends, past and present He is preceded in death by his brother, Brett Allen Rouse.
