Ted Shook, 87, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024. Born on February 4, 1937 in Madison County.
Ted served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Blackmer Masonic Lodge #127 A.F. & A.M.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Temple and Nova English Shook, and his sister; Joan Adams.
He is survived by his wife; Linda Ballard Shook, his daughter; Sheila Kay Shook, his son; Brian Ted Shook, his sister; Katherine Hamlin, and brothers; Vernon Shook (Edna), James Shook, Bill Shook (Glenda), Roger Sook (Sherry) and Dewey Shook (Gloria), his grandchildren; Jordan Shook (Eric), Cloie Shook and a great-granddaughter, Dawson Lunsford.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 18, 2024 in Locust Grove Baptist Church. Reverend Matt Tucker and Reverend Dr. Harry Culbertson, Jr. will officiate. Masonic Graveside Rights will be held in the church, interment will follow in West Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45 Monday prior to the service at the church.
