Ted J. Wolf, age 66, passed away peacefully in the evening hours of Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Lakehouse Assisted Living.
Ted was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised in Bark River, Michigan, he was the son of the late Victor and Joyce (Skradski) Wolf.
Ted graduated in 1977 from Bark River-Harris High School and attended Bay de Noc Community College and received an Associate of Science degree in Machine Tool Technology. He was employed with Eagle Tool Company for over 40 years and was a professional musician, playing guitar and keyboards for most of his life.
In addition to working, Ted enjoyed writing and performing music, collecting vehicles including his prized Corvette, and was an avid scholar of the Christian Bible. He also enjoyed hunting and was known for his jokes, story-telling and unique sense of humor.
Ted was united in marriage to Lori A. Burnis on November 12, 1988 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Manistique. They resided in Norway and Iron Mountain and spent over 20 years together at their home until Lori's passing in 2011.
He is survived by brothers Timothy (Diane) of Little Elm, Texas, Paul (Tami) of Bark River, and Phillip of Kinross. He is also survived by Burnis family members Rick, Mike, Tom, Linda and Tara, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great niece and great nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Kristi Wolf and father and mother-in-law Richard and Harriet Burnis.
The family wishes to extend many thanks to the friends, family, nurses and staff who cared for and visited Ted during his extended illness. A graveside service is pending and will be announced at a later date.

Ted will be sadly missed by his many friends...and I am one of them. His knowledge of music was vast and he and I talked of our old friends from Escanaba who still played music across the USA. Rest in peace Ted.
