Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory - Peachtree Corners Chapel on Oct. 25, 2024.
Teddi Sue Harrell passed away surrounded by family and love on October 18, 2024 at the age of 61 after a two-year fight with pancreatic cancer.
Teddi's bright spirit will be remembered by her father, Teddy Lane and wife Bonnie Lane; Brother David Lane, his wife Kristen Lane, and their children Chandler Lane (and his family) and Lindsey Lane; step-sister Wendy Taylor and her children, David Culpepper, Caleb Culpepper, and Gavin Culpepper; children Robert Harrell and wife Sarah Jackson, Michael Harrell and partner Deia King, and Melissa White and husband Tyler White; the grandchildren she loved so much Alex Powell, Riley White, Desi King-Harrell, Beckett White, and Leon King-Harrell; and her furry companions Piper and Levi. After thirty-five years, Teddi will be reunited with her mother, Sue Lane.
She touched lives and left positive memories everywhere she went, graduating from Fort Walton Beach High School and continuing to Georgia Tech, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, was a member of Alpha Xi Delta, and the sweetheart of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Following college, Teddi continued to apply her intelligence, problem solving, and abilities to find strengths in others through her work, including 17 years at ViaSat, where she rose to the level of Operations Program Manager.
Although her academic and professional accomplishments were many, Teddi will be remembered most for her kindness, her laughter, and the smile that began with her eyes. She never hesitated to support and uplift her friends; to support her children through various sports, musical endeavors, pageants, and academics; or to dedicate her time to those she cared about. Her faith led her to take part in women's small groups and help with the children's Sunday School at church.
Just as she would have done in life, Teddi has asked that rather than a funeral service, her loved ones and those that wish to celebrate her life join us at The Atrium at 139 N Norcross Tucker Rd Norcross, GA 30071 on Sunday, November 3rd from 1pm-4pm for Mexican food and margaritas. We would like for everybody to RSVP to
[email protected] by Tuesday, October 29th if they plan to attend.
Please keep in mind daylight saving time occurs Sunday. In lieu of flowers, Teddi asks that you donate to continue her and others' fight against pancreatic cancer at www.
PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network).org.
