Teddy Verl Chapple, born on October 8, 1992, in Indianapolis, Indiana, was a cherished son, devoted father, loving companion, and a respected business owner who touched the lives of many before he left us at the age of 32 on August 10, 2025 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a co-owner and leader at 1 and Done Tree Service, where his passion for the tree service industry blossomed from a young age. He was a skilled arborist and fearless tree climber - his Stihl 201 saw always close at hand. Teddy's commitment to his work showcased not only his determination but also his outstanding ability to forge connections, gain job leads, and create lasting relationships throughout the community.
Teddy's journey was not without its challenges, as he overcame significant obstacles in his life. Those who knew him were often graced by his big heart, unwavering determination, and his unique ability to make people laugh. Conversations with him were easy and delightful, as he had a special talent for connecting with others. His adventurous spirit led him to enjoy hobbies such as ATV rides, motorcycle outings, and visits to fairs, often just for the food he adored.
Teddy cherished his family, his children, and the bond he shared with his brothers and sister. To know Teddy was to know loyalty, love and a zest for life.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Brenda Chapple; father, Teddy Verl Wethington; daughters, Charlea, Aubrey, and Adalynn; companion, Kelly Bush; four brothers and a sister, along with numerous extended relatives and friends who appreciated his kindness and strength. Teddy is mourned by many who were fortunate enough to experience his vibrant spirit.
His legacy is also intertwined with the memories of those who preceded him in death, including his maternal great-grandmother, Mildred Chapple; great-grandfather, Paul H. Chapple; beloved granny, Ivadean "Dino" Groomer; grandfather, Paul R. Chapple; uncle, Dean Groomer; and uncle and aunt, Alan and Teresa "NaNa T" Hennis.
