Teddy Morrison, age 68, of Silver Lake, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026.
Teddy was born on September 13, 1957, in Tipton, Indiana, to the late William Morrison and Catherine (Gray) Morrison.
On March 1994, Teddy married the love of his life, Edith Morrison, who survives. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who deeply cherished his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Teddy was truly a jack of all trades—the kind of man who could fix just about anything. He was the first person you could call when help was needed, and he would already have his shoes on, ready to go, before you even arrived. In his free time, Teddy enjoyed fishing and was a devoted fan of Indiana University sports, proudly cheering on the Hoosiers.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Morrison; his children, Candy Morrison, Amy (Clarence) Bruneau, Chris Nance, Bridgete (Scott Banes) Cummins, and Clarinne (Steven) Spriggs; his sisters, Leona “Josie” (Danny) McCool of Michigan and Marilyn Mouser of Windfall; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, with two more great-grandchildren expected; and his dog, Ducky.
He was preceded in death by his children, Sherry Downs and Luwanda Morrison; his parents; and nine siblings.
