Teddy Sanchez Obituary
Teddy was a veteran of the United States Army, serving for 16 years from 1980 to 1996. He worked as an infantry engineer battalion surveyor. When Teddy returned from the service, he worked in New Jersey as a surveyor. Teddy was a perfectionist in all that he did. He enjoyed landscaping and working in the yard; While Teddy was staying with his sister, he enjoyed going outside to plant different things and bring beauty to the neighborhood.
Teddy is survived by three sisters – Marina Sanchez Gorriceta of San Miguel, Philippines, Fe Sanchez of Sparta, IL and Elvira (husband, Freddie) Sanchez Salarda; one brother – Father Alberto Sanchez of San Miguel, Philippines; sister-in-law – Althea Sanchez; Nieces and Nephews – Erica Salarda, Vanessa Salarda, Fredel Salarda, Kevin Salarda, Maria Delia Tabares, Rodolfo Tabares Jr., Ross Paul Gorriceta, Rousseanne Gorriceta, Roschelle Salvador, Roland Gorriceta, Von Derrick Sanchez, Diosdado Sanchez III, Pearl Joy Andrada, Sharon Otones, and Darwin Sanchez.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister – Velma Sanchez Tabares; brother – Diosdado Sanchez Jr.; two brothers-in-law – Ross Gorriceta and Rodolfo Tabares; one nephew – Ryan Tabares.
Arrangements are pending with Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL.
