Teddy Keith Thacker, 66, of Ruskin, FL entered his eternal rest January 1st, 2026 surrounded by family and loved ones. Teddy, as he was known by friends and family, was born in West Virginia, on Feb 3rd, 1959, to Teddy and Virginia Thacker.
Teddy is preceded into Heaven by both his parents, his sisters Karla and Vicki, and his son Colton.
Teddy is survived by his loving wife Michele, his sister Rhonda Tino, his children; Amanda, Angie, Brianna, Clayton, Joey, John-Kyle, Nathaniel, Tasha, Trina, Virginia, and Alaska, whom he considered his daughter. 29 grandchildren and one on the way, 9 great grandchildren and one on the way. Also, countless other friends and family, all of whom will miss having him in their lives.
Teddy had a passion for fishing, and hunting everything from deer, hog, turkey, rabbit and gator. He enjoyed playing pool, yard sales, old movies, and more than anything his family, who he cherished spending time with. He was a fan of the Miami Dolphins, the Tampa Bay Rays, and the San Diego Padres. He enjoyed riding his Harley with Michele on the back, or sometimes if his daughter Virginia outraced Michele out to the back of the bike for a cruise out east or to the beach.
While Teddy left us too soon, there is no doubt that everyone’s life, was made better for knowing him.
