Telitha "Pinky" Nancy Theesfeld, 88, of Baldwin, Mich., passed away at A Place Called Home in Stevensville, on Monday, May 5, 2025. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph.
Pinky was born on Sept. 14, 1936 in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Fred and Helen (Zechar) Peden.
On March 12, 1954 in Benton Harbor she married William Arthur Theesfeld; he preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 2012. She was a 1954 graduate of Benton Harbor High School. Pinky was a member of the Lake Community Bible Church in Baldwin; where she was active in the Yearly Day Camp. She enjoyed her basset hounds and ceramics. But most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.
Pinky is survived by her three daughters: Pam (Gary) Reisig of Stevensville, Patti Schneider of Benton Harbor and Peggy (Greg) Durr of St. Joseph; grandchildren: Meredith (Jake Gorske) Reisig, Mark (Denise) Reisig, Tia (Matt Stuch) Schneider and Sydney Durr; and great-grandchildren: Ian, Oliver, Owen and Riley; sister-in-law, Beth (Don) Quist; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding her in death are her parents: Fred and Helen; brothers: Fred and Bill Peden; son-in-law, Don Ott; sister-in-law and her husband: Barb (Tom) Cooper.
The family would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to the owner and staff at A Place Called Home, for taking such good care of our mom.
Visitation with the family will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel. A celebration of life service follows at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Sponable officiating. A luncheon follows at the funeral home. Committal services will take place in North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma.
