Roger Keith Theesfeld, was born on July 2, 1948 in Estherville, Iowa, to Albert and Leona Theesfeld. He was a triplet, his brothers Rodney and Robert passed away during infancy. Roger passed away on September 2, 2024, in his home in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 76.
Roger grew up in Estherville, Iowa. After graduating high school, he married his high school sweetheart, Sally Ellis. They moved to Colorado where they raised their children Jill and Jason. Roger worked many jobs, but his main job was a city bus driver for R.T.D. Roger and Sally built a beautiful home in Conifer, Colorado. The marriage was later dissolved.
Roger later married Liesel and they moved to Arizona. They also had a home in Estherville for many years. The couple had a business hauling old restored vehicles for private and some famous customers. Roger helped with building a museum of all 1950's memorabilia and automobiles. They enjoyed travelling the U.S. several times together. They also adopted Joshua, Mikalah, Ashley, Madison, and McKenna. Roger and Liesel's marriage later dissolved.
Roger enjoyed the water; boating, water skiing, and jet-skiing. He loved going to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and talking to everyone there. He enjoyed going to car auctions, and that led to an expensive hobby of buying and selling old cars or shopping with his sister, Marsha.
Roger is survived by his children Jill Montreuil and Jason Theesfeld; his grandchildren Jacob and Ellie Montreuil, Rachel (Wesley) Waltersdorf, Abz Montreuil, Caitlin (Corson) Kerbs, and Kylie Theesfeld; and great-granddaughters Austen Kerbs and Scarlett Faye Waltersdorf; his siblings Marilyn Theesfeld (Jim), Marsha Lilland, Marjie (Dan) Peterson, and Brian (Veronica) Theesfeld; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his adopted children Joshua, Mikalah, Ashley, Madison, and McKenna Theesfeld.
He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Leona; his brothers Rodney and Robert; and his brother-in-law Bob Lilland.
