Surrounded by the embrace of her family in her home in Aiea, Hawaii, she peacefully entered eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy deeply rooted in love, sacrifice, and devotion to God.
Born on April 1, 1935, in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte Barangay 2, Teodora's life was a profound testament to the strength of her spirit, the resilience of her character, and her faithful devotion to God.
Teodora's journey began amidst the lush fields and close-knit community of Pasuquin, where she cultivated not only the land and sea but also deep-rooted values of hard work and integrity. Her radiant smile and boundless generosity became her hallmarks, endearing her to all who had the pleasure of crossing her path. Her journey took her across oceans from the simplicity of provincial life in the Philippines, to Germany, then California, and finally to Hawaii. Yet no matter where she went, she carried with her grace, humbleness, and love.
A devoted wife to the late Artemio Florentino Bareng and loving mother to 8 children, Teodora's family was the cornerstone of her existence. Her guidance and wisdom shaped the lives of her children, 17 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue to flourish through generations. Her home was always a welcoming haven, filled with the aroma of her delightful cooking and the sound of laughter, where friends became family.
Teodora's unwavering faith to God and commitment to her community were evident in her daily life. She was a pillar of strength, often found lending a helping hand or offering a kind word to those in need. Her passion for life was mirrored in her dedication to her church, where she was a steadfast member, inspiring others with her grace and piety.

A Celebration of Life service to honor the life of Teodora Salisipan Bareng will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 3:00pm – 7pm. Service with Pastor: 4:00pm at Oahu Mortuary 2162 Nuuanu Ave. Honolulu, Hawaii 96817.
