Teofilo Hernandez Obituary
Funeral services: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Mount Olivet Chapel. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Mount Olivet Chapel in the Breyley Suite.
Teofilo was born April 19, 1962, in Fort Worth to Teofilo and Delores Hernandez.
He attended Diamond Hill Jarvis High School. Teofilo met Gracie by chance encounter and spent 41 wonderful years together. He attended St. Augustine and received his high school diploma. Teofilo worked with the Fort Worth Water Department for many years before retiring.
Teofilo enjoyed working on and racing cars with his friends and family. He had other activities that were part of his enjoyment, such as bowling, golfing, and fishing. He had two sports to watch: football and baseball. He will always be a Dallas Cowboys fan. One of his favorite pastimes was eating!
His love, devotion, and family traditions that will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
Survivors: wife, Gracie Hernandez; mother-in-law, Mary Padilla; children, Christopher Hernandez, Teofilo Hernandez IV wife, Jennifer, David Hernandez; siblings, Alice Hernandez, Belinda Hudson, Gilbert Hernandez, Bobby Hernandez, Tommy Hernandez; favorite sister-in-law, Lilian Tamez; grandchildren, Teofilo V, Sirina (Zozo), Isabelle Rose, David Zane, Ariel, Breanna, Abigaile, Mark, and Delilah; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
