Terence Shawn Sickels

It is with great sadness that the family of Terence "Terry" Sickels announces his passing on
December 18, 2024, at the age of 41.
Terry was born on June 24, 1983, and was predeceased by his father, Leroy H. Sickels Jr., his
nephew, Michael Clemens Koelle, and his beloved dog, Soco. He is survived by his loving
mother, Patricia Sickels, and his siblings: Dawn and Michael Koelle, Kate Chieffo, Al Chieffo,
Michael and Jeanine Sickels, and Patrick Sickels. Terry was also the proud uncle to his
nephews and nieces: Matthew, Joseph, and Elizabeth Koelle; Nicole and Grace Chieffo; and
Daniel and Christopher Sickels. He is further survived by many cousins, friends, and all who
were touched by his presence.
Terry will be remembered for his vibrant sense of humor, his contagious laugh, and his
reputation as the fun uncle who could always bring a smile to anyone's face. His kindness, wit,
and caring nature made him a cherished member of his family and community, and he will be
dearly missed by all who knew him.
In honor of Terry's deep devotion to his dog Soco, the family asks that donations be made to
Monmouth County SPCA in lieu of flowers.
