Terence David Wanless, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Margaret Wanless; cherished son of the late Frederick and Annie Wanless; devoted father of Tina (Mike) Tucker, Mark (Susan) Wanless, Lyn Wanless, and Beverly Schwendeman; loving grandfather of Jeri Lyn, Amber, Chuckie, Nikki, Mark, Samantha, Michelle, Christopher, Cody, Madison, and Noah; dear brother of the late Fred Wanless, the late Peter Wanless, and the late Pat Ford.
Terence was a proud member of the Bricklayers Union and dedicated many years to his trade. After retirement, he worked at Schnucks, where he’d sing to customers while bagging groceries, brightening many days with his joyful spirit. He loved music, especially The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Doris Day, Frank Sinatra, and Pink Floyd, and could often be heard singing along to his favorite songs. Terence enjoyed watching horse racing and golf, visiting the casino, doing a bit of yard work, and barbequing. A very social man, he cherished good conversation and time with family and friends. He shared 69 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Margaret. Together they built a life filled with love and devotion and especially enjoyed dancing side by side- a true example of lasting love. Terence was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Terence's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Shriners Hospital.
