Teresa "Rita" Babers Bell, age 68, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, at her residence. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Chapel of Angels, 1430 Thornton Street. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, 11:00 am at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 104 Calhoun Street, Clovis, NM, with Reverend Gillis officiating. Travis Bibbs, Earl Bibbs, Willie Bibbs, Billy Bibbs, Charles Bibbs, Herbert Bibbs, Moses Bibbs, and Clyde Bibbs will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories 2900 West 7th Street.
Teresa was born on July 29, 1957, in Clovis, NM, to Frank and Jewel Babers. She married Ralph Bell on May 11, 1979, in Clovis, NM. Teresa worked for many years in retail and sales at Walmart, where she was known for her kind spirit, warm smile, and dedication to helping others.
She loved spending time with her family and children, and nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by those she loved. Teresa adored her grandchildren deeply and cherished every moment she spent with them. She also loved meeting new people and never met a stranger-her kindness and laughter left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. She had a passion for traveling, and her favorite destination was Paris, a place that reflected her love for beauty and adventure.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Ralph Bell, of the home; two children, Ralphael Bell (Erin) of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Tanesha Bell of Clovis, NM; five siblings, Sherin Gaston of Las Vegas, NV, Annie Griggs (Butch) of Tucson, AZ, Cindy Barnett of Las Vegas, NV, Jerry Babers of Tucson, AZ, and Frankie Byrd (Billy) of Houston, TX; and her beloved grandchildren, Azalea Ramirez (Bryson), Aaleiya Bell, Asha Bell, Aye Williams, Alani Bell, and Anuhea Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jewel Babers, and two brothers, George Babers and Howard Babers.
