Elida "Chickie" Henderlite

Chickie Henderlite, age 68, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, in Clovis, NM. Cremation will take place, and a private service will be held at a later date.
Chickie was born on September 6, 1957, in Laredo, TX to Bill Holt and Elida Garcia. She worked as an activity's director for City of Clovis. Chickie loved doing crafts, needle pointing, photography, and baking, she received over 415 ribbons and three 'Best of Show' in the Curry County Fair, enjoyed playing Mrs. Claus in the Christmas Parade, and loved Halloween.
Chickie is survived by her husband; Rick Henderlite of the Home, three children; Charles Henderlite (Aggie), of Colorado, Felica Graham (Daniel) of Ohio, Tiffany Encinias (Reyes) of Florida, adopted father; Pat Collins of Texas, mother; Elida Collins of New Mexico, brother; Houston Collins of New Mexico, three sisters; Linda Coiner of New Mexico, Jennifer Collins of Texas, Denise Collins-Garcia of New Mexico, seven grandchildren; Hailey, Emma, Reyes Jr., Xander, Zaiden, Zaliah, Levy, and three great-grandchildren; Melody, Greyson, and Christopher.
She was preceded in death by her father; Bill Holt and sister; Debbie Collins.
